Belmont is #24 in the DFZ way-too-early TOP-25 rankings. The Bruins were 26-4 last year, as they went 21-0 from December to February, yet to lose the last two games of the regular season. Read on for more info on the Bruins, and why they're #24.

The Bruins finished the season 26-4 last year, with a record of 21-0 from December to February, yet to lose the last two of the regular season, and get blown out 86-71 in the conference championship. The main reason they're ranked is that they have all 5 starters coming back and the top-7 scorers coming back. Belmont doesn't have many good recruits, but they have all of their key players coming back. This is NOT a good comparison, but imagine this: All of Duke's players come back from the 2019 year. Our starting lineup would be CRAZY!! Belmont is also CRAZY-good at shooting, being third-best in the COUNTY at 2-pointers. They also are above 35% from beyond the ark. (3-pointers) I'll repeat this fact. Their top-7 scorers are all coming back. Belmont's leading scorer is Nick Muszynski, with 15 PPG. (Don't try pronouncing it. It's like that backup Clemson QB. Took me forever to say his name correctly.)

That is why Belmont is #24 in our rankings...

Belmont could easily be higher, but we have some better teams above them! Come back tomorrow for #23!! (Hint: Their nickname is the Cavs! Do you know it?)
