With a final spread of -5.5 in Duke's favor, the Blue Devils need several key things to pull out a victory tonight against #19 Kentucky. The Wildcats are Duke's first ranked opponent of the year, and first non-home matchup. Both Duke and UK are 2-0 with blowout wins. Here are keys to the game:

Continue crashing the boards

With 40 rebounds against Maine, and 50 against Army, rebounds are clearly a big factor in the large wins.

Capitalize on second-chance opportunities

Against Army, Duke had 17 offensive rebounds, but only scored 17 second-chance points. Duke needs to increase the points on offensive rebounds.

Cooper Flagg needs to spread out his playing time to avoid cramping

As seen in previous games, Flagg has had cramps and has had to leave the game multiple times. Flagg needs to spread out his minutes, with time to rest.

Start off strong from behind the arc

Friday night, Duke started off 1-11 from three, ultimately ending up shooting 45%. Duke needs to start off strong.

Guard Koby Brea

Leaving this guard open could be an issue, Duke needs to make sure this man is covered at all times. He averages 19 PPG in 2 games.
