On a college football centered day, Duke is ready to take on Louisville at 6 PM. Duke and Louisville are the last teams to start ACC play.

This is Duke's second official away game of the year, the first a solid win against #17 at the time Arizona.

History vs Louisville:

  • Duke leads series 15-9

  • Duke is 5-4 in Louisville, 4-3 in KFC Yum! Center

Louisville Breakdown:

  • Opened season 5-1 before losing two straight to Oklahoma and Ole Miss.

  • Received 27 votes in the latest AP Poll.

  • Senior Chucky Hepburn averages 3.5 steals per game, which is second in the nation, and 15.1 PPG, leading Louisville.

  • Team averages 77 PPG in 8 games.

  • Louisville forces nearly 17 turnovers per game, which is 21st in the country.

  • The Cardinals have had key wins against #14 Indiana and West Virginia.

Keys to the Game:

  1. Isaiah needs playing time. In 11 minutes against Auburn, Evans exploded with 18 points, going 6-8 from behind the arc.

  2. Limit the fast break. Against Auburn, Duke held them scoreless in transition. For success tonight, Louisville can not capitalize in transition.

  3. Guard the paint. Louisville shoots a very low 27% from 3, and Scheyer needs to make sure the team knows they will be shooting more mid-range shots than behind the arc.
